Can I be certain that inconsistent configurations on build machines won't influence build results?

IncrediBuild uses a technology, which we internally call "Process Virtualization," it works such that IncrediBuild will use the configurations you would normally use to build from your initiating machine. This isn't affected by the Helper machines involved in the incrediBuild Infrastructure.

The compilation processes of this initiating machine will be used across all other Helper machines within your incrediBuild infrastructure. These Agent machines don't need to be configured with a development environment besides the initial installation of incrediBuild.

You can think of these Helper machines as just additional processing power for your initiator machine. The environments on these other machines aren't taken into account. They are there for you to harness the additional processing power.
