IncrediBuild service won't start

Possible Causes:

The IncrediBuild service may not start due to the following reasons:

  • There conflicting directory paths, such as "Program Files(x86)" and "C:\Program Files"
  • The registry value to the directory in which IncrediBuild is stored isn't in quotation marks.
    • For example: 

      KEY: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\IncrediBuild_Agent 

      Value: ImagePath 

Fix: 

Make sure the directory path is completely written out and is in quotation marks. such as:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Xoreax\IncrediBuild\...”
