Accessing the same output file concurrently from different Agents

In some processes, it may be necessary for the same output file to be written to several times, from different Agents. A typical example is a log file which gets incrementally updated by the different running tasks.

With IncrediBuild, such access might result in loss of data or data corruption.

Our recommended approach in this case is have each task create the individual records as output files, and merge all of the output record files into a single file/database on the initiating machine, either throughout the build as a parallel thread or as a post-build step.
